A storywoven throughgenerations.
Virsaay is a contemporary expression of Pakistani craft, where traditional artistry meets modern silhouettes.
02
What we inherit is only the beginning.
Virsaay was born from a desire to create something that feels familiar, yet entirely its own.
Founded by sisters and shaped by a shared creative vision, the house draws from the richness of Pakistani craftsmanship—its intricate handwork, time-honoured techniques and remarkable attention to detail—while looking firmly towards the future. For us, tradition is not a formula to follow. It is a foundation from which to create.
Our name comes from “Virsa” — inheritance. Not simply what is passed down, but what we choose to do with it.
We inherit a craft.
We give it a new language.
And one day, we leave something of our own behind.
This is our Virsaay.
03
To create beautifully.
To create meaningfully.
Our mission is to build a fashion house where creativity and opportunity grow together.
We are committed to celebrating skilled craftsmanship, creating meaningful opportunities for the people behind it, and providing a space where traditional skills can evolve rather than disappear.
Through thoughtful design and uncompromising craftsmanship, we aim to create pieces of lasting relevance while ensuring that every step forward for Virsaay creates room for more talent, more possibility and more people to grow with us.
Because success means more when it is shared.
04
To create without limits.
We envision Virsaay as a fashion house that transcends borders, generations and expectations.
Our ambition is to take the artistry we come from into spaces it has not yet reached—to continuously experiment, evolve and redefine what contemporary Pakistani fashion can become on a global stage.
We do not believe heritage should limit the future.
We believe it should inspire how far we can go.
For Virsaay, there is no final destination.
There is always another idea to explore, another boundary to cross and another chapter to create.
Rooted in where we come from.
Limitless in where we can go.
05
By hand,
in order.
Six stages, from the length of cloth to the garment that leaves the room.
-
Cloth
Organza, chiffon, cotton silk and net are chosen first, because everything that follows depends on how the cloth falls.
-
Thread
Thread and bead are laid onto the cloth leaf by leaf, following the drawn motif.
-
Embroidery
Dabka, sequin and zardozi build the surface until the embroidery carries the light on its own.
-
Hands
A piece passes through many hands before it is finished, and every one of them leaves something in it.
-
Finishing
Edges, cuffs and hems are closed last: the scallop, the net, the final sequin.
-
The garment
And then it moves.
Tradition is notsomething we keep.
It is somethingwe carry forward.
